Chris Craig (guitar, keyboard, vocals, songwriter)-Chris, another founding group member, has the biggest influence on the stylings of THE GUISE.  Chris is an accomplished singer, guitar and piano performer, yet claims that the drums are really what he plays best.  And after hearing him perform some of his rhythmic creations while playing his guitar, we might have to agree.  Chris has written many of the originals performed by THE GUISE and like Lee and John, Chris’s performing roots go way back.  As a teenager, he played down in Branson for the Baldknobbers, and has played with various local bands since.  Chris even spent time in Nashville’s country music scene showcasing his songwriting skills while working on his Doctorate at Vanderbilt University.  Oh yeah, Chris’s day job just happens to be Acting Associate Provost at Missouri State University, where he is affectionately know as the “Doc of Rock”.
